Kartik Aryan is currently shooting a film with Kiara Advani called ‘Satyaprem Ki Katha’. He recently revealed his upcoming movie, Aashiqui 3. Kartik Aaryan may be one of the busiest actors in Bollywood, but there was a time when people didn’t know his name and only knew him as “Pyaar Ka Punchnama guy”. In a recent interview, the actor talked about his film journey, which was “very hard” and full of “ups and downs.”

Kartik made his film debut in 2011 with Pyaar Ka Punchnama. He also worked on Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety and said the 2018 film “gives him a name”. Most recently, he appeared in the horror comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 which is one of the highest-grossing Hindi films of the year.

On Saturday, Karthik appeared on CNN News18 to talk about how he became famous in the industry after seven years. he said, “The trip was very difficult. Fortunately, I had enough time, because I started at the age of 20, and it worked out for me. But it’s a journey with ups and downs. For a long time, people didn’t know my name. They only know me as a Pyaar Ka Punchnama monologue guy. The person who put me at stake was Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety. This movie came out when I was in the industry for 7 years and people didn’t know I existed.

In the first film to explore the pain of men in relationships, Karthik Aryan’s monologue is filmed in one shot. In this seven-minute talk, he talks about how men in love go through many changes in their relationship with women. Other leading roles include Raayo S Bakhirta, Nushrratt Bharuccha, Sonalli Sehgal, Ishita Raj Sharma and Divyendu Sharma.

Karthik also said that he was in charge of posting “good content”. When asked to share his thoughts on Bollywood vs. South, which fared better at the box office, Karthik said, “A good film works regardless of language. Audiences are getting smarter and want entertainment. They want to invest time and money and see the good. As part of the industry, we must provide good content. There are a lot of good films coming out this year and they are doing well.”

Kartik’s next film, Satyaprem Ki Katha, will be released on June 29, 2023. This film will be directed by Sameer Vidwans and this is Karthik’s second film with Kiara Advani. In addition to Anurag Basu’s Aashiqui 3, Kartik also has Shehzada, a Telugu Hindi remake of the film Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo. This film also stars Kriti Sanon. Among other upcoming films, he will also appear in Freddie alongside Alaya F.
