Filmmaker Karan Johar’s famous talk show Koffee With Karan remains in the headlines for its controversial content. The show which has become a hotspot for gossip by the renowned actors offers audiences some jaw-dropping revelations too. In the recent episode of KWK, the Kabir Singh Jodi of Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani appeared as guests.

Besides having fun talking about their personal lives and relationships, Johar also discussed the professional choices of both Shahid and Kiara. While doing the same, it was revealed that Kriti Sanon was the first choice for the Netflix anthology titled Lust Stories helmed by Johar and not Kiara. Karan told Kiara how it became a career-changing role for her. He also shared the reason why Kriti could not take that role up. It was then stated that because of the boldness of the role, Sanon’s mother did not allow her to do it.

After the footage of the same came out, a user who seems to be a fan of Kriti claimed in his tweet that Karan Johar is trying hard to demean Kriti on his show. Now, what grabbed fans’ attention is the like of Kriti’s mother, Geeta Sanon on the mentioned tweet. Kriti’s mother’s appreciation for the tweet makes it quite clear that she is not happy with how Karan is portraying her daughter on his show.

Let us tell you that this was not the first time that Karan dragged Kriti in between his conversations with the stars on Koffee Couch. Previously when Sonam and Arjun came, he asked the actress who she thought was overrated. Sonam, who was not convinced with the question changed it and said that she would prefer naming underrated actors. “Bhumi Pednekar, Kiara Advani and Kriti Sanon,” she quoted. In his reply to the same, Karan said, “They think they’re very big stars in their head, and you’ve called them underrated!”

Meanwhile, Kriti Sanon is doing pretty well in her career. After receiving accolades for her last film Mimi, she has bagged multiple projects. Her next ventures include Bhediya with Varun Dhawan, Ganapath with Tiger Shroff, Adipurush alongside Prabhas, and Shehzada opposite Kartik Aaryan.
