Back in 2019, when Bigg Boss 13 was on air, Asim Riaz and Sidharth Shukla’s fights were all over the place. The 13th season of the controversial reality show was undoubtedly the most entertaining season in the entire history of Bigg Boss. Besides Sidharth, the other person in the Bigg Boss house who never got along with Asim was Paras Chhabra.

Asim and Paras were seen getting into verbal tiffs every now and then. The two just couldn’t stand each other. But after Sidharth Shukla’s untimely demise, Asim and Paras have buried their hatchet and have become friends again.

In a recent interview, Chhabra, who shared a great bond with the late Sidharth Shukla, has talked about his growing friendship with Asim. Paras has revealed that after Shukla’s sudden death, everybody realized that life is too short to hold grudges and no issue is so big in life that it cannot be resolved. And this has led him and Asim to let go of their past rivalry against each other.

In a conversation with Etimes, Chhabra also shared how he and Asim couldn’t control their emotions when they meet at Sidharth’s house recently and hugged each other, forgetting their past animosity. Paras quoted, “The moment Asim and I saw each other, we couldn’t control our emotions and hugged each other. Asim in fact said ki milna toh tha but aise nahi milna tha humein. It is at that very moment that we decided that we shouldn’t be keeping any animosity against each other and should be back to being friends. We also vowed to be in touch and to meet each other often.”

He continued, “We both realized that no issue is so big in life that it cannot be resolved. Both of us took the first step towards each other at Sidharth’s place. It was as if Sidharth reunited us from up there.” “Asim and I have spent a good time inside the Bigg Boss house together and both of us were close to Sidharth,” concluded Paras.

After the unfortunate incident of Sidharth’s death, we saw Bigg Boss 13 contestants reuniting after a long. The tragic death of Shukla has brought a sense of forgiveness and compassion in everyone, and this is why we feel thick enemies like Asim and Paras have changed their hearts for good. Besides Sidharth’s family, fans, and close friends, all of his Bigg Boss 13 inmates- Shehnaaz Gill (his rumored lady love), Asim Riaz, Arti Singh, Rashami Desai, Hindustani Bhau, Devoleena Bhattacharjee, Paras Chhabra, and Mahira Sharma were present at his funeral. Sidharth breathed his last on September 2 and his last rites were performed at Oshiwara crematorium, Mumbai on September 3.
