Veteran Bollywood actor Pankaj Tripathi is soon all set to entertain the audience with his new film ‘Sherdil: The Pilibhit Saga’. This upcoming film is produced by T-Series and Reliance Entertainment in association with Match Cut Productions. And today few pictures from the sets of this film have also surfaced and the release of the film has also been announced by the makers to the audience.

Pankaj Tripathi’s dark humour, ‘Sherdil: The Pilibhit Saga’ is inspired by true events of Uttar Pradesh. The film is directed by National Award winning director, Srijit Mukherjee. Apart from Pankaj Tripathi, the saga, inspired by real events, also stars Neeraj Kabi and Sayani Gupta in pivotal roles.

An insightful story about the adverse effects of urbanisation, human-animal conflict and poverty in the film ‘Sherdil: The Pilibhit Saga’ is about the people of a village on the edge of a forest. In the pictures surfaced from the set of film, Pankaj Tripathi is seen in the forest in the costume of an ordinary person. This film is the dream project of Srijit Mukherji.

The story of the film ‘Sherdil: The Pilibhit Saga’ is inspired by the real incident of tragic events in the villages bordering the Pilibhit Tiger Reserve, how it takes a lot of courage to sacrifice one’s life to save the family and Srijit. Mukherjee’s film revolves around Veerta, which focuses on the conflict between man and nature. The film will hit the big screen on June 24, 2022.
