Actor Vedang Raina and Naomika Saran, granddaughter of late superstar Rajesh Khanna, were spotted together in Mumbai on Thursday night, sparking fresh speculation about their relationship. Videos and pictures of the duo exiting a cinema hall quickly surfaced online and began circulating widely across social media platforms.
In the viral clips, Vedang and Naomika were seen leaving a PVR multiplex together after reportedly watching a film. Paparazzi surrounded the pair as they walked toward the exit area and headed to their car.
Naomika, who appeared dressed casually for the outing, was seen laughing and blushing as photographers called out her name. At one point during the video, she tried to hide her face from the cameras while entering an elevator inside the building.
After exiting the elevator, both Vedang and Naomika quickly walked toward their waiting car as paparazzi continued filming them. Vedang was also seen smiling briefly at photographers during the sighting.
The spotting immediately triggered speculation online, especially because rumours about the two actors working together and possibly dating have been circulating for several months.
According to multiple reports, Vedang Raina and Naomika Saran are currently collaborating on an upcoming Maddock Films-backed romantic comedy. Reports earlier this year claimed the pair had already completed script readings and test shoots for the project.
The film is expected to mark Naomika Saran’s Bollywood debut.
Naomika is the daughter of former actor Rinke Khanna and businessman Sameer Saran. She is also the granddaughter of Rajesh Khanna and Dimple Kapadia, making her part of one of Bollywood’s most prominent film families. She is the niece of actor-writer Twinkle Khanna and actor Akshay Kumar.
Despite belonging to a well-known film family, Naomika has mostly stayed away from media attention so far. However, recent appearances outside Maddock Films’ office and now her outing with Vedang Raina have increased curiosity around her debut project.
Vedang Raina, meanwhile, has been gaining attention after his performances in The Archies and Jigra. The actor is also currently associated with filmmaker Imtiaz Ali’s upcoming project Main Vaapas Aaunga.
The latest sighting has also generated discussion because of ongoing rumours surrounding Vedang’s reported breakup with actor Khushi Kapoor. Though neither Vedang nor Khushi publicly confirmed their relationship earlier, the two were frequently spotted together over the past two years following their debut in The Archies.
Recent reports suggested Vedang and Khushi may have parted ways after fans noticed reduced public appearances and social media interactions between them in recent months.
Following Thursday night’s spotting, social media users began reacting to Vedang and Naomika’s appearance together. Several fan pages reposted clips from the outing, while users commented on their chemistry and upcoming film pairing.
Comments such as “They look cute together” and “New Bollywood pair incoming” appeared across Instagram and X after the videos surfaced online.
Earlier this year too, Vedang and Naomika were spotted together outside producer Dinesh Vijan’s office carrying scripts, leading to speculation about a romantic comedy being developed by Maddock Films.
According to reports at the time, the project was initially supposed to star Agastya Nanda before Vedang Raina was finalised for the lead role due to scheduling changes.
Reports also claimed Naomika underwent acting and dance workshops over the past year before beginning work on her debut film.
Neither Vedang Raina nor Naomika Saran has commented publicly on the dating speculation surrounding them.
The two continue to remain in the spotlightfollowing the viral Mumbai outing.
