The heartthrob of the TV industry Shaheer Sheikh and his wife Ruchikaa Kapoor have recently welcomed their little bundle of joy. The couple’s first child is a baby girl. The two never announced or talked about the pregnancy on any public platform. Their fans and followers only got to know about it when some of Ruchikaa’s friends shared photos in which her baby bump was visible and later through the baby shower clicks of the couple.
The couple has now revealed the name of their baby. They have named the newborn Anaya. Shaheer took to his Instagram to share a throwback picture of himself with his pregnant wife, Ruchikaa Kapoor. The unseen picture is from the baby shower that Shaeer hosted for his close friends and family. Sheikh wrote, “Blessed with the gift of life. Filled with immense gratitude… need all your love and good wishes for the journey ahead. Keep us in your prayers #Anaya.”
Shaheer’s industry friends, including Rashmi Desai and Ravi Bhatia, took to the comments section to congratulate the couple on the same.
Ruchikaa gave birth to her first child on September 10. Expressing his happiness over becoming a dad, Shaheer said, “It has been my dream to be a dad. I always wanted a girl and told Ruchikaa so, whenever she asked.”
When asked what kind of a dad he would be and Sheikh stated that he has no idea about it. “I might spoil my child. But I also know that I will never force my thoughts or views on my child,” .
At this moment of joy, Shaheer also recalled a question and answered it during a modelling pageant. Sheikh remembered, “I was asked, ‘what would you do if you wake up as a woman one day?’. I replied, “I would love to be pregnant. That answer came spontaneously without hesitation! Man’s biggest limitation is that he can never give birth to a child. It is a superpower that only women have. Women are stronger than men to deal with childbirth physically and emotionally.”
Shaheer’s Pavitra Rishta 2.0 had a digital premiere recently. For the show, Shaheer stepped into the shoes of the late Sushant Singh Rajput. He plays Manav while Ankita Lokhande returned as Archana on the show. Shaheer is currently seen reprising his role as Dev in Sony Tv’s Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi 2.
