South Superstar Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2 has got a new Bollywood star added to the film. This Bollywood star is none other than ‘Ek Villain Returns’ star, Arjun Kapoor. According to media reports, producers have signed Kapoor to play a vital role in the movie. The negotiations between the ‘Ishaqzaade’  actor and the filmmaker Sukumar are still on. If everything goes fine, Arjun Kapoor would be seen playing the role of a Cop in Pushpa 2.

Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna will be again seen in lead roles in Pushpa 2. Now, the joining of the ‘Half Girlfriend’ actor in the second instalment has raised the curiosity level of fans. However, neither Arjun Kapoor nor the film’s producer has confirmed the news of the ‘Ishaqzaade’ actor joining the film. Arjun Kapoor is yet to react to the news.

Last year, Arjun Kapoor reviewed and praised Pushpa through his Instagram story.

“Pushpa is not a film. It’s an experience, a juggernaut of attitude, intensity and coolness put together in one smooth poetic motion picture.” Kapoor wrote praising words for the film.

Pushpa: The Rise was one of the superhit south films of 2021 and had earned more than 350 crores at the box office. It starred Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna in the lead roles.  Pushpa’s blockbuster performance in the North region had opened the doors for the Bollywood Vs Hindi Cinema debate. Since the release of Pushpa in December 2021, people are eagerly waiting for its second instalment.

Allu Arjun will start Pushpa 2’s shooting in mid-October. The famous actor is also taking proper classes and training for his role. The new look of the actor in the movie is yet to be revealed. Talking about Arjun Kapoor, he was last seen in Mohit Suri’s ‘Ek Villain Returns’. He will be next seen in Aasman Bhardwaj’s ‘Kuttey’, released on 4 November 2022.
