Actor Hrithik Roshan has shared a bunch of new pictures with Deepika Padukone as they began work on their upcoming movie, Fighter. This is their first movie together. In his selfie with Deepika Padukone, Hrithik Roshan is seen posing with his arm around her shoulders. She is seen in a red top while Hrithik is seen wearing a blue and white cap. “The gang is ready for takeoff. #Fighter,” Hrithik captioned his post.
The features’ buffs showered them with good wishes and compliments. “Have a terrific working time altogether,” wrote one. “All the best. Expecting a cracker of a film,” wrote another. Recently Hrithik Roshan took to social media to share pictures with team Fighter. “This gang is ready to take off #Fighter” he captioned the pictures.
The fighter was confirmed in January this year on the occasion of Hrithik’s birthday. The actor had shared a teaser of the film and had said, “It is an honor for me as an actor to introduce and be a part of Mamta and Sid Anand’s first production Fighter for Marflix! This one is special as it deepens my association with a director and a friend whose journey I have witnessed from being an AD on my sets to directing me in Bang Bang and War. And now as he turns producer for Fighter, I can’t seem to contain my excitement. This one is pure adrenaline for the heart and mind. So here goes! Boom! Thank you Sid for believing in me and making me your co-passenger yet again. Here’s to your journey towards the sky!” 
The makers of Fighter plead that the actioner will be shot using the latest technology and filming techniques. Ajit Andhare, COO, Viacom18 Studios, said, “An aerial action film offers a unique cinematic experience. Being a Top Gun fan, I have been looking for a script for years that explore aerial action and has a story rooted in India. The fighter is that answer. Siddharth understands this genre and brings a unique flair to his films. I am excited to collaborate with him in building this franchise.”
Furthermore sharing the teaser, Deepika wrote in the caption, “Dreams do come true… #SiddharthAnand #Marflix #Fighter @iHrithik.” Talking about the film, Siddharth Anand had said, “This is one of the most exciting moments of my life to bring together two of my favorite stars, Hrithik and Deepika, for the first time to the Indian and global audience. I am thrilled to begin the journey of MARFLIX, a production house dedicated to action filmmaking in India. I started this journey with Marflix along with my life partner Mamta Anand. Starting MARFLIX with Hrithik is special as he is someone who has seen me even working as an AD, then as a director on two films and now I am not just his director but I’m also starting my production house with him.”
The film is scheduled to hit the theaters in 2022, Fighter will be bankrolled by Viacom18 Studios, Mamta Anand, Ramon Chibb, and Anku Pande. This is the first time when Deepika and Hrithik have shared the silver screen.
