Actress Priyanka Chopra Jonas has been giving interviews back-to-back where she has spoken about both her personal and professional life. She has also made some shocking revelations about Bollywood. In an interview in podcast channel Armchair Expert with Dax Shepard, Priyanka Chopra called RRR a Tamil movie for which she was schooled by netizens.
Priyanka Chopra Calls RRR A Tamil Film
Despite being in the West, Priyanka has not forgotten her roots. She has always supported good Indian movies including RRR. It so happened that during the interview, when the interviewer called SS Rajamouli’s film ‘Bollywood’, she corrected him.
Replying to a question on Bollywood, Priyanka said that the industry has evolved in an incredible way as he said that Bollywood now has the “mainstream big action , love story and the dancing”. When host Dax interrupted the actress saying, “RRR…”, our desi girl corrected him as she said that RRR is a Tamil movie and further called it “big, mega, blockbuster Tamil that is like our Avengers.
For the unversed, RRR was originally made in Telugu with stars like Ram Charan and Jr NTR in pivotal roles. It was dubbed in Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam and Kannada.
