When Janhvi Kapoor Wanted To Be Sara Ali Khan’s Friend But She Did ‘Heroine Wale Nakhre’ At An Award Show- Deets Inside

Bollywood actresses Janhvi Kapoor and Sara Ali Khan share a great bond. Despite being contemporaries, the two are often seen hanging out together.

Recently Janhvi and Sara appeared in Ranveer’s quiz show The Big Picture together. In the episode, Janhvi shared the first time she met Sara Ali Khan, she saw ‘Nakhre (tantrums)’ of a heroine in her.

During a conversation, Ranveer questioned Janhvi and Sara about how they became friends. In the start, they said that they have ‘common friends.’ Then Janhvi revisited the moment when she first saw Sara.

She said, “I met Sara for the first time at an award function. I had tagged along with mumma (late actor Sridevi) and we were very young. I still remember Sara was sitting with Amrita aunty (Sara’s mom Amrita Singh), baar baar heroine waale nakhre kar rahi thi (she behaved like a heroine). She was wearing a saree or salwar kameez at that time, I think. She did it (gesturing that she pushed her hair back) with such elegance, I wanted to become her friend.”

Ranveer after listening to this also recalled the first time he met Sara. He told that Sara attended a wedding in Hyderabad only to see him perform. After that, the two met again while shooting the film Simmba, in which she played the lead role opposite Ranveer.

Later we also saw Janhvi turning a dance teacher to Ranveer and teaching him belly dancing. A video from the episode that was posted online showed Ranveer and Janhvi wearing a red waist belt, which is worn by professional belly dancers, and dancing to Janhvi’s song Nadiyo Paar.

Sara had appreciated Janhvi and their friendship in one of her recent posts on Instagram. She wrote while sharing the post, “Real princesses fix each other’s crowns, Friendship, inspiration, motivation from gyms to gowns, Loving, laughing, smiling, no place for frowns, Because it’s always a blast with you at home, at shoot or in remote Indian towns.”

Well, we love the bond between Janhvi and Sara. Just waiting for the two to collaborate on-screen too.
