Haryanvi singer and dancer Sapna Choudhary’s personal life has come under public scrutiny after she approached Delhi’s Dwarka Mahila Court, alleging domestic violence by her husband, Veer Sahu. During the initial hearing of the matter, the court granted interim relief to the actress and imposed restrictions on her husband until the next date of hearing. The development has once again put the spotlight on Sapna’s relationship with Veer Sahu, prompting renewed interest in the couple’s personal journey and the legal proceedings currently underway.

Dwarka Court Grants Interim Protection to Sapna Choudhary
According to reports, a hearing in the case was held on Tuesday before the Dwarka Mahila Court in Delhi. Judicial Magistrate First Class Nidhi Singh granted interim relief to Sapna Choudhary after considering the petition filed by the actress. As part of the interim order, Veer Sahu has reportedly been restrained from contacting Sapna Choudhary, visiting her residence or workplace, or harassing her in any manner until the next hearing in the case.

The petition filed by Sapna allegedly states that she experienced domestic violence during her marriage and fears that similar incidents could recur in the future. It further claims that due to the ongoing disputes, she was compelled to leave her matrimonial home and is currently residing at her parental home in Najafgarh, Delhi. During the hearing, the court reportedly reviewed the material placed on record, including documents, photographs of injuries, and audio recordings submitted in support of the petition.

After prima facie considering the allegations serious in nature, the court issued an interim protection order in Sapna Choudhary’s favour. The matter is now scheduled for further hearing on July 25. Advocate Preeti Singh, who represented Sapna Choudhary in court, reportedly informed the court that the premiere of Sapna’s upcoming film Momaku was scheduled for June 10 and that the actress’s presence at the event was essential.

Concerns were also raised that Veer Sahu might allegedly appear at the venue and create disturbances, issue threats, or disrupt the event, potentially affecting Sapna’s security and professional commitments. These submissions formed part of the arguments seeking urgent protection for the actress. Veer Sahu is a well-known name in the Haryanvi entertainment industry. Like Sapna Choudhary, he also belongs to Haryana and was born into a Jat farming family in Madanheri village in Hisar district.
