In a Zoom interview, Bollywood actor Tusshar Kapoor shared that he did not immediately interact with Kareena Kapoor while filming his debut movie, Mujhe Kucch Kehna Hai. The actor explained that it took him a few days to break the ice and start conversing with his co-star on the film’s set. In the early 2000s, Tusshar Kapoor emerged as a promising new talent in Bollywood. As the son of veteran actor Jeetendra, he entered the industry with considerable attention and won audiences over with his debut film, Mujhe Kucch Kehna Hai, opposite Kareena Kapoor.

Mujhe Kuch Kehna Hain

Speaking exclusively to Zoom about completing 25 years in the industry, Tusshar Kapoor reflected on his memorable cinematic journey. “I’ve worked the most with Kareena. I have done two Golmaal films, Mujhe Kucch Kehna Hai and Jeena Sirf Merre Liye. We got along really well, especially in the second film. Your first heroine is always going to have an edge because I faced the camera with her for the first time. I regard Bebo as a very special professional friend of mine.”

The actor further shared, “She was very supportive and she had already done a movie; quite acclimatised to the studio atmosphere. I remember my first scene and she told me, ‘You can take as many shots, do 50 takes, but be comfortable and satisfied with your shot’. She tried to make me feel a little easier. It was only a few days later that I started warming up. We didn’t speak much during my first film. I was just with my director, working to nail the character. She was the fun aspect. New Zealand mein thoda baatein karte the, gossip karte the. Bebo was fun that way, but I was very much into my job and wanted to get my role right and my director to be happy with my work.”
