After the success of the web series, the actor-producer is reportedly turning the fictional cafe from the show into a real-life destination, with two new Musafir Cafes planned in Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Construction work at both locations has reportedly already begun. In the series, Vikrant plays Chander, a man who leaves behind the rush of city life and heads towards the mountains, where he dreams of building a life around his own cafe.

The cafe becomes an important part of his journey and now that fictional setting is reportedly being recreated in the real world. The upcoming cafes will reportedly be designed along the lines of the one seen in the series, giving visitors a chance to experience the same mountain-inspired ambience that became an integral part of the show’s story. What makes the project particularly interesting is that the two locations are not being planned as regular cafes alone. According to reports, the properties will include around 20 rooms dedicated to artist residencies.

The idea is to give artists and creators a place where they can stay and work while surrounded by the quiet and scenic atmosphere of the hills. Reports say the upcoming real-life cafes are being developed through the production house.
