After Parineeti Chopra, Ranveer Singh Part Ways With YRF Talent Management Agency; Find Out Why!

After Parineeti Chopra, Ranveer Singh decided to split with Yash Raj Films’ talent management agency, YRF Talent. The decision of ending this 12-year old association is amicable and there is no bad blood between Singh and Aditya Chopra, who is the head of YRF Talent.

A source close to Ranveer has revealed, “YRF will always be home for Ranveer Singh. Aditya Chopra picked him as a newcomer. He has since become one of the biggest superstars of our country.” It also said that the two share a “solid” relationship, one that is based on trust and mutual respect.” Ranveer Singh and Aditya Chopra will continue collaborating on films in the future just as they have done in the past,” added the source.

The reason behind Ranveer leaving the agency is not clear. But it is widely speculated that back-to-back flops from Yash Raj Films like Bunty Aur Babli 2, Samrat Prithviraj, and Shamshera could have made Ranveer to take this decision. He was last seen in YRF’s Jayeshbhai Jordaar, which was not well-received at the box office.

For the unversed, Ranveer Singh made his Bollywood debut with Maneesh Sharma’s Band Baaja Baaraat (2010) which was backed by YRF banner. He has done multiple films with Yash Raj Films after his first movie. The list includes Ladies vs Ricky Bahl (2011), Gunday (2014), Kill Dil (2014), and Befikre (2016).

On the work front, the actor will soon be seen in Rohit Shetty’s Cirkus and Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. He is also in talks with Sanjay Leela Bhansali for Baiju Bawra.
