Veteran Indian actress Simi Garewal is remembered more for her talk show ‘Rendezvous with Simi’ than for her films. Many of her fans keep contemplating her return as a host to celebrities. And seems like their wish is fulfilled as Garewal is soon going to be seen on the ongoing Bigg Boss 16.

Simi caused a storm on social media as she posted a promo video of her appearance on Bigg Boss 16 on her official Instagram handle. Taking to IG Reels, the actress shared the clip of her meeting with the contestants of controversial show.

The video begins with participants entering a room decorated in white which seems to be inspired by the set of Rendezvous with Simi Garewal. Soon we see the Karz actress arriving at the place wearing her signature all-white pantsuit. A voiceover played in the background is also heard. It says, “For the first time in 16 years, there will be rendezvous with Simi Garewal.”

Next, we got to catch a glimpse of Simi interacting with Priyanka Chahar Chaudhary. She asks Chaudhary to choose between two options. Simi states, “Aapke samne do plate hain, ek mein hai stardom, doosri plate main hai unconditional love.” Priyanka chooses love.

The 75-year old actress then shift her focus to Shalin Bhanot and asks a similar question. She says, “Ek (plate) mein Tina hai…” Bhanot interrupts in between and without even knowing what the other option is, he tells Simi that he will choose the other plate. Tina Datta looks surprised on his answer but she just laughs it off. Simi then defends Shalin in a funny way and quotes, “Don’t be so hard on him.”

As soon as the clip reached internet, fans started getting nostalgic. One wrote, “Can’t wait to see this episode. Missing Rendezvous with Simi Garewal.” Another said, “Phew!! Not the comeback I expected, but at least there is hope now.” A third one penned, “So good to see you back on TV.” A fan asserted, “You haven’t changed a bit.”

For the unversed, Bigg Boss 16 is grabbing eyeballs for its engaging content. This installment has proved to be the most successful seasons of all times after season 13.
