When it comes to the advertising of her upcoming film, Gehraiyaan, Deepika Padukone is leaving no stone untouched. The Shakun Batra-directed film is attracting attention for all the right reasons, as it boasts a stellar cast that includes not just DP, but also Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ananya Panday.

We’re here for it because the 36-year-old actress has been giving us one statement look after another. Deepika Padukone’s latest promotional look left us stunned, as she was styled once again by Shaleena Nathani, who knocked it out of the park with this one.

For the second time in the previous week, the actress gave her blessing to the blazer dress. She chose a structured Alexandre Vauthier piece in a black tone this time. Full sleeves, a v-neck, and pointed lapels adorned her ensemble. Silver rhinestones, which are synonymous with the brand, adorned her dress’s sleeves and waist.

The diva completed her ensemble with a pair of black Gucci stilettos and a bold chain-link gold necklace.

DP, who is known for her signature red lipstick and sleek back hair, reintroduced both with this look. The Piku actress chose thick, crimson red lips with sparkly gloss over them, proving that there is no such thing as too much gloss. The diva’s features were accentuated with defined eyeliner, blended eyeshadow, plenty of mascara to provide volume to her lashes, filled-in brows, and contoured cheeks. Her makeup popped out because of her slick-back short bun.

Deepika will be featured in ‘Gehraiyaan’ alongside Ananya Panday, Siddhant Chaturvedi, and Dhairya Karwa. Speaking about her character, Deepika had previously shared, “Alisha, my character in Gehraiyaan is extremely close to my heart and certainly one of the most challenging characters I have portrayed on screen. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to play a role that was fun and challenging at the same time. Each of the characters’ struggles and arcs is real, raw, and relatable.”

‘Gehraiyaan,’ directed by Shakun Batra and produced by Karan Johar, is planned to premiere on OTT on February 11, 2022.
