Delhi Police To Have Special Podcast Series Of ‘Kissa Khaki Ka’ For Women This Month

‘KISSA KHAKI KA’, the one-of-a-kind podcast series by Delhi Police will focus on women achievers from Delhi Police this month, starting from March 6.  This podcast series is an initiative taken by Delhi Police Commissioner Sher Rakesh Asthana to establish communication with the masses by featuring its unheard stories of crimes, investigations, heart and humanity.
It is focused on celebrating the extraordinary social and humanitarian services rendered by Delhi Police personnel cutting across all ranks. These stories are written and narrated by media educator and prison reformer Dr. Vartika Nanda. She heads the Department of Journalism at Lady Shri Ram College, Delhi University and is also known for her exclusive podcasts on prisons.
Latest episode series featured Preeti Sangwan, SI from the Special Branch of Delhi Police and her triumph of nabbing the gangster Kala Jathedi and her partner Anuradha. Preeti hails from a farmer family in Haryana and has been trained to uncover crimes of high intensity.
‘Kissa Khaki Ka’, is aired digitally every Sunday at 2 pm.
Delhi Police will podcast a special episode on 8th March with the address of Delhi Police Commissioner Shri Rakesh Asthana.
