Malaika Arora is a brand in the glamour world. The stunning celebrity often becomes the talk of the town. Recently, she made her fans jump in excitement after announcing her upcoming OTT debut show Moving In With Malaika. Now, in the latest promotional video from her show, Arora tickled funny bones by taking several digs at herself.

Taking to Instagram, Malaika shared a clip that features her in a gorgeous silver outfit. Looking like an absolute diva with loose hair, the Munni Badnaam Hui performer is heard bursting some misconceptions around her career and life problems in the video. It begins with a voiceover introducing Malaika as the top Bollywood female actor. On hearing this, she gets surprised and says, “Wait, wait, wait. Top female actor? Housefull 2 dekhi hai na? Kuchh aur bol do!”

The voiceover then states, “Don’t miss the reality show that takes you on a roller coaster ride into the life of Malaika, India’s beloved celebrity.” Malaika again interrupts and says, “Wait a second. Beloved celebrity? I get trolled for just walking. We need to say something else, guys.”

The voiceover tries for the third time and talks about Malaika’s struggles and hardships to introduce her. But the stunner is still not impressed. She cuts in between and replies, “Guys, Malaika hu, Malala nahi. Everyone knows my problems are first-world. Reality show hai. Can we please keep it real?”

At last, when the voiceover calls her a youth icon and a nation’s pride, Malaika takes it in her hands and says, “You know what, I got this. Fans, friends and ex-friends, I’ll give everyone something new to talk about. It’s time to get up close and very personal.”

Alongside the video, Malaika wrote in the caption, “Let’s get real? It’s a reality show after all! #HotstarSpecials #MovingInWithMalaika , starts Dec 5th Mon – Thu at 8 pm only on @disneyplushotstar.” Soon after, her comments section got filled with shout-outs for being badass in the video. Colleagues and fans also shared their excitement for the show.

For the unversed, Moving in with Malaika is set to release on December 5 and will stream on Disney+ Hotstar.
