Kareena Kapoor Declares The Audience Responsible For Nepotism; Said, “Don’t Watch The Film”

Kareena Kapoor Khan, the fourth generation actress of Bollywood’s Kapoor family, never shies away from speaking her mind. Once when nepotism was being talked about in the Hindi film industry, Bebo i.e. Kareena openly expressed her views on the issue of nepotism. But Kareena blamed the audience more than Bollywood on this.

The debate on nepotism started after the sudden and shocking demise of late actor Sushant Singh Rajput. Star kids, and especially Karan Johar, were facing trolls on social media amid allegations that the late actor was let off for being an outsider. During the same time, in a conversation with a senior journalist, Kareena had said that her 21 years in the industry were possible only based on nepotism.

According to DNA, she said that instead of looking at everything from the privilege to the negative, the ‘big picture’ of the matter should be considered. She said, ‘You tell me how it is possible to work for 21 years only through nepotism.’ Kareena further said I can show a long list of children of those superstars who could not get success. ‘It may sound strange but I struggle. There is a struggle of mine too but it is perhaps not as interesting as one who comes on a train with only Rs 10 in his pocket. Yes, it is not so and I cannot apologize for that.

Citing the examples of superstars Shah Rukh Khan and Akshay Kumar who became superstars despite being ‘outsiders’, Kareena further said, ‘The audience made us, no one else made us. The same people are raising their fingers, they are making stars with nepotism. Are you going to watch a movie? do not go. No one has forced you. I don’t get it right. I think this whole discussion is completely absurd.’

Talking about work in front of Kareena Kapoor then she will soon be seen in Aamir Khan starrer ‘Lal Singh Chaddha’. Kareena’s look has been revealed from the film, in which she is seen in a Punjabi kudi look.
