Puri Jagannadh Wants To Remake This Film Of Mahesh Babu, Said, “Hindi Audience Will Like It”

Puri Jagannadh is in the news these days for his action drama film ‘Liger’. This pan-India movie stars Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday in lead roles. Puri Jagannath is known in the Hindi belt for being the director of the original Telugu versions of ‘Wanted’ (Pokiri) and ‘Simmba’ (Temper). Recently, Puri Jagannath told that he wants to remake Mahesh Babu’s film ‘Businessman’ in Hindi.

Actually, Puri Jagannadh told during an interview that he wants to make Hindi remake of Telugu film ‘Businessman’. I think there is a lot of potential for this in the Hindi belt. I wish I get time to reflect on it and soon I can make it for Hindi audience.

Puri Jagannadh further said, “According to me, Businessman is a film that can be made into a franchise for Telugu audiences with Mahesh Babu as well. There is a lot that I can do with this character. The same can be done for pokiri. I had the idea of ​​making sequels of both the films in early 2010, but then Mahesh Babu was busy with other films. We never discussed the sequel then and hence both the films never got made.

Puri Jagannadh on directing in Hindi said that he wants to make a film with Salman Khan. At the same time, he also wants to work with actors like Varun Dhawan, Ranbir Kapoor and Ranveer Singh. Let us inform that ‘Liger’, directed by Puri, is all set to hit the theaters on August 25. Mike Tyson will also be seen doing a cameo in this film. Vijay Deverakonda, Ananya Panday, Ramya Krishna and Ronit Roy will be seen in the lead roles in this film.
