Addressing rumors, Remo clarified that his decision to convert to Christianity had nothing to do with his wife, Lizelle D’Souza.

He revealed that he was just 15 years old when he made the choice. Actively involved with church activities during his teenage years, Remo shared that a priest suggested the idea of conversion. After discussing it with his father, who had no objections, he chose to follow that spiritual path. During the home tour featured in the same interaction, Remo and Lizelle offered a glimpse into their beautifully curated space, which reflects a blend of spiritual beliefs.

The house features idols of Lord Ganesha and Lord Shiva alongside an image of Jesus Christ. Lizelle shared her long-standing wish to have a Shivling at home, while Remo revealed he owns one of the smallest Shivlings in the world. A dedicated section of their home now honors Lord Shiva, symbolizing their inclusive approach to faith.

He mentioned that crowded temples often made it difficult for him to worship peacefully, prompting him to create a serene spiritual space within his own home. Remo’s rise to fame was anything but easy. When he first arrived in Mumbai with dreams of making it big in dance, he faced harsh rejection. Many producers turned him away due to his dark complexion, a bias that could have broken his spirit.
