Deepika Padukone’s film ‘Gehraiyaan’ is releasing on 11th February on the OTT platform. Directed by Shakun Batra, the film will feature Siddhant Chaturvedi, Ananya Panday, and Dhairya Karva. Ever since the first look of the film came out, there has been discussion about Deepika and Siddhant’s intimate scenes in it. Talking about this openly, Siddhant himself has said how nervous he got while doing this scene with Deepika.

Siddhant told in an interview to ETimes, ‘I was like Wow; I am going to romance Deepika. Which has worked with actors like Shahrukh Khan, Ranveer Singh, Ranbir Kapoor. After doing this romantic film, I didn’t want people to say that I didn’t play well. Shakun narrated the story to me and I was excited to work with him. That’s why I said yes too. We knew that there would be intimate scenes in the film but we are not aware to what extent they will be there. This was not mentioned at all in the script.

Siddhant further said that when he saw the Intimacy directors on the sets, he was a bit scared. ‘The first time I heard it, I was a bit scared that what is so much intimacy director is needed in the picture. Then later I realized that Shakun likes to work like this. Getting her intimate scenes done is not physical but emotional. The camera won’t tell you that look, two people are kissing. He just goes on capturing things. He told in detail about his intimacy workshop, he had spent many days in Goa for this. In the morning he would do yoga and in the afternoon the body coach would train him to relax. And in the evening, Intimacy Director Dar would advise them to take a rest.
