The untimely demise of TV and film actress Tunisha Sharma has left the entire nation in a state of mourning. She is survived by her mother who came all the way from Chandigarh to Mumbai with her daughter to support her in making a career in acting. But the tragic loss of the 20-year-old shining star has left her mother all alone in a grave situation.

Tunisha who was the sole earner of her family has left behind a lot of assets for her mother. It includes property worth Rs 15 crore and a luxurious apartment in the suburbs of Mumbai.

For the unknown, Tunisha Sharma hanged herself to death on the sets of her show Ali Baba: Dastaan-E-Kabul on December 24. She committed suicide inside the toilet of her co-actor and ex-beau Sheezan Mohammed Khan’s makeup room. She was taken to hospital immediately but was declared dead on arrival. The last rites will be conducted at her Mumbai residence.

As per Tunisha’s mother, the late actress slipped into severe depression after Sheezan broke up with her 15 days prior to Tunisha taking her life. She was madly in love with him and even Sheezan had promised her of marriage. But he betrayed her later and parted ways after dating for 3-4 months. Sheezan is currently under police custody. He is charged with abetting Tunisha’s suicide.

Work wise, Tunisha Sharma stepped into acting as a child artist in Bharat Ka Veer Putra – Maharana Pratap in 2015. She portrayed Chand Kawar in the show. Soon after, the gorgeous lady got noticed and Bollywood director Abhishek Kapoor offered her the role of young Katrina Kaif in his film Fitoor. She went on to feature in Baar Baar Dekho and Kahani 2. Before her death, Tunisha was playing the lead role of Mariyam on fantasy show Ali Baba: Dastaan-E-Kabul.
