Actress Anushka Sharma and her cricketer husband Virat Kohli embark on a spiritual journey that begins in Rishikesh. After visiting the ashram of Swami Dayanand Giri, the couple organized a bhandara, a religious celebration for 100 saints. A photo of the duo seeking blessings at the ashram was posted on social media and many fans went crazy.
Virat-Anushka Gets Blessing of Saints
In the photo, Anushka and Virat Kohli receive blessings from the saints sitting on the ground during the bhandara. When the food was served, the couple greeted each other with folded hands. While Virat was dressed in a sweater and trousers, Anushka was dressed in a white suit with a shawl and floral prints.
They also click on photos of fans at the ashram. Earlier in the day, Anushka posted an adorable photo of herself meditating by a river. The couple will reportedly attend another public religious ceremony at the ashram.

Couple Have been making spiritual Journey
It is not clear whether their daughter Vamika Kohli, who often accompanies them on their journeys to spiritual places, was also with them in Rishikesh. The family had previously visited Baba Nim Karoli’s ashram in Vrindavan.From there some clear pictures of Virat and Anushka’s Daughter also went viral. Anushka and Virat Kohli’s spiritual journey begins a few days before the test series against Australia. It is also known as the 2023 Gavaskar Frontier Trophy. Australia will tour India over the next few days to host a four-match Test series that will determine first place in the World Testing Championship. These top teams will face each other in a one-off championship match at The Oval in June.
