Youths Throw Water Bottle At Kailash Kher During Hampi Utsav In Karnataka; Find Out Why!

Singer Kailash Kher is a famous artist. His craze among various generations has made him a legend in his field. The madness for Kher will never take a backseat given the kind of aura he has. Recently, Kailash performed live at Karnataka’s Hampi Utsav for thousands of spectators in the arena. He was there with his band ‘Kailasa’. But it turned out to be extremely unpleasant for him.

It so happened that the ‘Teri Deewani’ fame singer was performing on the stage when two men from the audience gallery reportedly youths threw a bottle directed at him. They urged him to sing a Kannada song, because he was humming only Hindi tracks.

A video from the event has gone viral on social media. In the clip, one can see a bottle hurled at Kailash from the audience side while he was singing his popular song ‘Tu Jaane Na’. The bottle missed him by few inches but this did not deter him from performing for his fans. Later on, the two young boys were arrested from the spot by the cops.

Talking about the incident, Kailash Kher said that we find some over-excited people everywhere. It was the same case at Hampi Utsav too. He stated, “Two impulsive young boys got restless as they wished to hear Kannada songs. Since we had a pre-decided sequence of songs, I asked them to have patience. We had a surprise planned for all the Kannada-speaking people. We wanted to pay a musical tribute to Puneeth Rajkumar sir (late Kannada actor). But unfortunately, those guys lost patience.”

For the unknown, the three-day Hampi Utsav began on January 27. It is first time that such a festival was organized in the state since the formation of new district Vijayanagara.  Several well-known artistes like Armaan Malik, Anannya Bhath, and Arjun Jannya from all over India have performed at the event.
