Not a long time ago, Urfi got into a verbal fight with designer Farah Ali Khan after she called her dressing ‘distasteful.’ Urfi, who got hurt after Farah’s comments on her still seems to be irritated with Farah. In a recent turn of events, a pissed-off Urfi took to her social media handle to slam the designer after her fans pointed out her hypocrisy toward Farah.
Farah’s comment on her sister Sussanne Khan’s recent post got noticed by Urfi’s fans. On a photo of Sussanne posing for a magazine cover in a bralette, Farah wrote, “Gorgeous you Suss.”
Netizens quickly jumped in to remind her of her comments on Urfi and called her a hypocrite. “So the advice you gave to the young actress about not showing legs and boobs at the same time, doesn’t apply to your sister. Bit hypocritical don’t you think?” a user wrote in reply to Farah’s praises on her sister’s post.
In her defence, Farah wrote, “I did not ask her not to expose. I asked her to choose better styling. If you can’t see the difference then it’s okay. Everyone does not have to have the same point of view. Have a blessed day.”
Replying to another troll, she penned, “The intent was not to bully her but to protect her but you don’t have to understand that because our creator knows my intent.”
When Uorfi took note of it, she took to her Instagram stories to call out Farah in a long note. “No, your intent was not to ‘protect’ me. You’re a known face, you called me distasteful on a public platform, and your comment made headlines. I was so depressed reading your comment, that I cried my eyes out. You embarrassed and slut shamed me publicly. I stood up for myself. After receiving backlash, you later changed your narrative to ‘protect me’ but I still never received an apology from you. At least I have the balls to stick to my words. Hope this will be a lesson to you to not bully any young girl (outsider coz never seen you calling star kids distasteful in public) in future,” she put across her point.
For the uninitiated, the war of words between Urfi and Farah started in March this year when the latter remarked badly on Urfi’s pap video. “Sorry to say but this young girl needs to be reprimanded for distasteful dressing. People are making fun of her and she thinks they like the way she dresses. Wish someone would tell her,” Farah commented.
Later, Urfi bashed her with a note that somehow made the two cool down until today.
Talking about Urfi’s work achievements, she last appeared in a music video. She has been part of Bade Bhaiyya Ki Dulhania, Bepannaah, Kasautii Zindagii Kay, and Punch Beat Season 2.
