Akshay Kumar Says, “The Economy Will Be Affected By The Boycott Of Films” On Bollywood Films

For the past few days, Bollywood seems to be very angry with the film industry. As soon as the release of the films, people start opposing the film on social media. Which has a direct impact on the earnings of the films. This is the reason that Bollywood films are not able to show anything special at the box office for a long time. Aamir Khan’s film Laal Singh Chaddha, which released recently, faced huge protests on social media. After this, Akshay Kumar’s film Raksha Bandhan also came under the target of trolls, due to which both the films are seen struggling at the box office.

Now actor Akshay Kumar has broken the silence on the opposition of Bollywood films happening on social media and urged not to boycott the films. Akshay Kumar said in an interview to Hindustan Times, “Some people start demanding boycott of the film. I would request them not to do such mischief, it is not right to do so. It takes a lot of hard work as well as money to make a film. If the films do not work, then the industry will suffer, which will also affect the economy of the country. By doing this you are only harming yourself and I hope soon people will realize this. He further said about the films of South, if good films are made then they also move. Because it’s a good movie. There is no effect of North and South in films not playing.

Raksha Bandhan, which released in theaters on August 11, 2022, has clashed with Aamir Khan’s Laal Singh Chaddha in cinema halls. In this clash, none of Aamir- Akshay has benefited, as both these films seem to be faltering since the opening day to earn at the box office. According to media reports, the film has earned 7.05 crores on Sunday.
