With films such as Ek Villain 2, Kuttey and Lady Killer, among others, Arjun Kapoor is on a roll. The actor now has a full schedule. As of today, Womensera has obtained exclusive knowledge that Arjun has been cast in yet another intriguing project.

According to insiders, the actor has joined the cast of filmmaker Mudassar Aziz’s next film, which is expected to be a light-hearted comedy.

“Arjun and Mudassar have been talking about the possibility of working together for quite some time. The script, which incorporates both comedy and drama, falls well within the realm of Mudassar’s previous works.

The paperwork has been completed, and the film is scheduled to begin production in the second half of 2022,” according to a person familiar with the project.

The Bhagnanis – Vashu and Jackky – will produce the picture, which has not yet been given a title, via their production company, Pooja Films.

While the screenplay has been finalized, the production team is focusing on the pre-production phase, which involves a scouting trip as well as the casting of the film’s whole ensemble cast.

Following the completion of Arjun’s current obligations, the flight is planned to take off sometime in June or July of this year. In addition to Arjun, an A-List actress is anticipated to join the cast of this film, which will star Arjun as the male protagonist.

Mudassar has already directed successful films like Happy Bhaag Jayegi and Pati Patni Aur Woh, and his next project is also a comedy starring Sonakshi Sinha and Huma Qureshi.

While Arjun has been praised for his comedic timing in films such as Two States and Mubarakan, he has also been criticized for it.

The actor has two other light-hearted flicks under his belt, both of which he co-starred in with his father, Boney Kapoor — the official remakes of Comali and F2, respectively.

Luv Ranjan and Anees Bazmee are presently writing the scripts for the two films, which will be released soon.
