Legendary singer Bharat Ratna Lata Mangeshkar passed away on Sunday at the age of 92. The last rites were performed with state honours at Shivaji Park, Mumbai. Prime Minister Modi also reached Mumbai to bid him his last farewell. Lata ji’s brother Hridaynath Mangeshkar lit her with moist eyes. During this, his entire family was present there. Everyone is missing him. Lata Mangeshkar’s younger sister and singer Asha Bhosle has also remembered her sister especially.

Lata Mangeshkar was on life support in ICU for almost a month. She breathed his last in the hospital on the morning of 6 February. After the demise of Lata Mangeshkar, the whole country is immersed in a wave of mourning.

Expressing grief, PM Modi wrote on Twitter, “The kind and caring Lata didi has left us. Lata didi’s passing has left a void in the country that can never be filled. Generations to come to see her.” Will be remembered as a stalwart of Indian culture.”
