“I Did Such Great Roles, But Never Got Credit”, Says Arjun Kapoor Praising Himself, Deets Inside!!
Arjun Kapoor came under the target of social media users while talking on the boycott of Aamir Khan’s film ‘Lal Singh Chaddha’. He had called Boycott wrong. Now Arjun Kapoor has called himself as an underrated actor i.e. he is underestimated for his ability. However, he has also praised himself in terms of his performance, described himself as an ‘underdog’.
Arjun Kapoor was last seen in ‘Ek Villain Returns’, which also featured John Abraham, Tara Sutaria and Disha Patani in lead roles. The film, which was released on July 29, was directed by Mohit Suri. However, the film could not perform well. In a conversation with a media house, Arjun Kapoor has again said some things about himself.
Arjun Kapoor has included himself in the list of underrated actors. While having a conversation he used words like underrated and underdog for himself, saying, ‘I feel like I’m generally underrated but when it comes to performance, I end up doing something I didn’t expect. People think that I am a great mainstream hero, but I think it is the culture and nature of the business we are in, because sometimes it is also because of the family I comes from, or because of my expressive nature behind the camera. Because I am the kind of person who has no regrets.’
Arjun has said that he was not given that much credit for his work in mainstream cinema. He said that he always wanted to be an all rounder actor. He said, ‘I wish to try and balance in all types of cinema, but people have given me the tag of mainstream category. If you look at the kind of work I have done, I have also done films like Finding Fanny, Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar, and Lady Killer.
