The VJ-turned actress Divya Agarwal, on Saturday, lifted the coveted title of first Bigg Boss OTT winner. Inside the house, Divya did not share a great rapport with most of the contestants. In fact, the talented girl has played her game on her own. She stood like a lone warrior most of the time. Divya had many fights inside the controversial house of Bigg Boss, but what caught the eyeballs was her animosity with co-contestant Shamita Shetty.
The two started off as friends, but their friendship did not last long. Cracks started appearing and later the two were often seen locking horns with each other. While Divya found Shamita bossy, Shamita was of the opinion that Divya manipulates people. However, towards the end of their six-week journey, both Shamita and Divya came back to good terms with each other.
Now, after winning the first Bigg Boss OTT, Divya has revealed that she has not talked to Shamita yet as she will not approach her first. Divya wants Shamita to make the first move as misunderstandings between them were from Shamita’s side.
In a conversation with a leading daily after her win, Divya said that she and Shamita haven’t got a chance to catch up on the phone or in-person since the Bigg Boss finale ended. She quoted, “I haven’t spoken to Shamita until now. After the show ended yesterday, we all are tired and resting. No one has got enough time to do other things. But I will not contact her first.”
Divya further added, “I genuinely want Shamita to contact me first and I want to see how she approaches me. Because throughout the show her approach towards me was full of misunderstandings. So I would like to see that effort from her end and want to know her in real life. Because many things happen in that house and I kind of forgive but I won’t forget.”
Soon after her exit, Divya reunited with her boyfriend, actor Varun Sood, and closed ones. She was seen celebrating her win with family and friends. Rannvijay Singha was present with Divya and Varun. For the unversed, Divya beat Nishant Bhatt and Shamita Shetty to emerge as the winner of Bigg Boss OTT. Nishant Bhat became the first runner-up while Shamita got the third position. Besides a trophy, Divya took home a cash prize of Rs. 25 lakhs.
