Saif Ali Khan is owning the headlines these days, all thanks to his interesting lineup of projects and announcements of many new films. Last seen in horror-comedy, Bhoot Police alongside Arjun Kapoor, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Yami Gautam, Saif is now in talks for a sequel of the same movie.
For the promotion of his last release, Bhoot Police, Saif along with Yami and Jacqueline appeared on The Kapil Sharma Show. Recently, SonyTV has shared the ‘uncensored’ version of the same episode online, the censored episode of which was aired last month.
In the video, Kapil Sharma tells Saif that since the beginning of the new season of The Kapil Sharma Show, Archana Puran Singh has been asking him to stop flirting with the female guests as he is now a father of two children. “Aapko bhi koi agar bol de ki bachche ho gaye hai, flirt karna bandh kar do, toh aap kya jawaab dete ho unko (If someone tells you to stop flirting as you have children now, what do you tell them)?” he asked Saif.
Saif goes speechless for a moment. Archana jumps into the conversation and says, “Pehle Kareena ko jawaab dega yeh, phir unko jawaab dega (He will first have to give an answer to Kareena Kapoor before anyone else),” to which Saif says, “Haan, iska toh jawaab hai hi nahi (Yes, there is no response to this).”
Further in the conversation, Kapil asks Saif if he earned more as an actor or by renting out his property for his web series, Tandav which was shot at the Pataudi Palace. Saif laughs at this and says both. He then reveals that his mother, Sharmila Tagore, is the one who benefits from shoots at their ancestral home. “Meri maa le leti hai woh (My mother takes all the money),” he said, before adding, “Main sirf naam ka Nawab hoon.”
In their tete-a-tete, Kapil talked to other cast members also. Yami who was also present there talked about experiencing the supernatural phenomenon during the shoot of Bhoot Police. She revealed that she was staying at a property in Mussoorie which was rumoured to be haunted. As she went into her room, she thought of watching The Kapil Sharma Show to do away with the boredom. but the television did not work. Her iPad, which was fully charged, did not work either.
Finally, Yami decided to sleep. She quoted, “Maine aise haath jode aur kaha, ‘Agar sach mein koi hai, toh please mujhe sone dijiye, mujhe subah bohot jaldi jaagna hai’ (With folded hands, I said, ‘If there is indeed a spirit in the room, please let me sleep as I have to wake up very early tomorrow’).”
Revealing another spooky incident, Yami told that in the morning when her hairstylist was doing her in the morning, she felt something melting in her hair. That was candle wax. Yami said that there were some lit candles in her room but they were quite some distance away from the bed and that she had no idea how the wax from the candles got into her hair. She further added that it remained in her hair for 15 days.
