Bigg Boss OTT has arrived and people are going crazy as it seems to be really interesting this time. After its premiere last night, it looks like all the contestants of the show are promisingly entertaining. The contestant who made his mark on stage by getting into arguments with almost everyone on the very first day of the show is Pratik Sehajpal. Before entering the house, the actor in an interview with Hindustan Times shared what he feels about former Bigg Boss 14 contestant, Abhinav Shukla and what is his current equation with ex-girlfriend, Pavitra Punia.

Last year, in Bigg Boss 14, contestants and even host Salman Khan used to make fun of Abhinav Shukla’s extraordinary ways of looking at things. Abhinav had a BTech degree in Electronics & Communication and he was often seen on the show sharing his knowledge with the inmates.

Now, the newbie contestant Prateek Sehajpal also has an educated background, He is a law graduate. In the interview, Prateek was asked if he will share his knowledge with the BB audience like the way Abhinav had shared, to which he replied, “What should I say about Abhinav Shukla and his knowledge? Wo pura gyan dete rehte the brahmand ka (He would talk about all the things under the Sun). He used to talk about stars, that knowledge is not needed. Not for Bigg Boss. That kind of knowledge would fit on the Discovery channel. Go to a wildlife channel. If you behave like animals, you will be kept with animals.”

He further added, “The knowledge of the law is something that is used in daily life. People normally do not know about their own rights. I have a very strong opinion. Even if you do not ask for it, I will give it to you. If there is a conversation around me, it will end up being around me.”

Prateek Sehajpal has also shared how his relationship went kaput with former Bigg Boss 14 contestant, Pavitra Punia. He revealed that she was ‘psychotic’, ‘possessive’, and ‘aggressive’ and he also had the same qualities.

On being asked if he is prepared to deal with it in the show, he said, “There is nothing to hide. We were in love, now we have moved on after the break-up. Both of us are happy in life. We have both worked hard to reach where we are in our lives. We have moved on. Both of us have the right to stay happy. I am okay with that (discussion around her). What can contestants do? They cannot shoot me. Even if they shoot me, I am bulletproof.”

“If you put a diamond in mud, it will still remain a diamond. No matter how dirty things get, you can just take it out, clean it up and it will still be priced at a few crores. This does not concern me at all,” he added.

Further in the interview, on being asked about his reaction if Pavitra enters the show as a wild card,  Pratik replied, “Dekhi jaegi aur kya (We will see when we come to that). I have not done anything wrong with her, neither did she do anything wrong with me in any manner. (laughs loudly) I do not know why I am laughing, there is nothing to laugh about. Maybe I am imagining she has come in the house and I am right there. I do not know how it will be, but it is going to be fun, I guess.”

He further added, “We have only said the truth about each other. She is aggressive, so am I. She is possessive, so am I. She is psychotic, so am I. We loved each other, now we are done with it and moved on in our lives. What I will do is take her to the mandap, holding her hand and tell Eijaz bhai ‘Lo bhai shadi kar lo, tumhari sampatti hai tum rakho humein kuch nahi (Please get married. She is your property, keep her with you, I do not have anything to do with her).”

Prateek also shared that he never met Pavitra Punia after their breakup but they both have moved on and are happy in their lives.
