Comedian Samay Raina recently attended a cyber-awareness event in Mumbai where Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis honoured him. Samay Raina Jokes About Cyber Cell
The comedian was honoured by Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, but instead of keeping his speech strictly formal, Samay used the opportunity to crack jokes about his past association with the Maharashtra Cyber Cell. A video from the event was later shared by Samay on his Instagram account. The clip shows several Bollywood personalities, including Pankaj Tripathi, Sharad Kelkar and Ashish Vidyarthi, enjoying his jokes.

While thanking Devendra Fadnavis for honouring him, Samay jokingly referred to his previous interactions with the Maharashtra Cyber Cell. He said that his relationship with the Cyber Cell had been going on for a long time and joked about the emergency cybercrime helpline number 1930. Samay humorously said that he had saved the number on his phone because he would sometimes receive calls from it.

He further joked that the Maharashtra Cyber Cell was extremely active and claimed that whether someone was in India or even the United States, the agency would eventually find them. His comments immediately triggered laughter among the people sitting on stage. Devendra Fadnavis, Sharad Kelkar and Ashish Vidyarthi were seen laughing at the comedian’s remarks.

Samay then joked about the fact that a Cyber Cell officer had once visited a comedian’s home early in the morning, adding that he was now being honoured at an event. His reference was clearly connected to the controversy surrounding his comedy show. Another funny moment happened when Samay was called on stage to receive the honour from Devendra Fadnavis. As he was about to leave the stage, Samay noticed biscuits placed nearby and jokingly asked the Chief Minister, “Sir, biscuit le loon kya?” The unexpected question made Fadnavis and the other guests laugh once again.
