The release date of Shahid Kapoor Mrunal Thakur starrer ‘Jersey’ has been postponed once again. The film was supposed to clash with ‘KGF Chapter 2’ on April 14, 2022. But now this film will be released in theaters on April 22, 2022. Elaborating on postponing the release of the film, producer Aman Gill said, “As a team, we have shed our blood, sweat, and tears in the jersey. We would like our lovely film to reach all of you. That’s why now Jersey will be released on April 22, 2022.

Shahid Kapoor will be seen in two different looks in this film directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri. The story of the film revolves around a failed cricketer who, hoping to represent the Indian cricket team, decides to return to cricket after 3 decades, and to fulfill his son’s wish, he gifts him a jersey. Let us tell you that the film ‘Jersey’ is a Hindi remake of the Tamil sports drama film of the same name, in this film Shahid Kapoor will be seen playing the role of a cricketer. The film also stars Mrunal Thakur and Pankaj Kapur in lead roles along with Shahid Kapoor.
