Batwara 1947 is a period drama directed by Rajkumar Santoshi and produced by Aamir Khan Productions. Set during the Partition of 1947, the film tells the story of Sikander Mirza, played by Sunny Deol, and his family as they move from Lucknow to Lahore after receiving an abandoned haveli.
