He has also expressed his happiness for the stupendous success of the film. Viewer Kumar was asked what was the most challenging aspect for you to play the role of Krishna Pandit? You said you almost went into depression, how did you get over it?

In response to this question, the actor said, ‘The Kashmir Files was very challenging for me physically, mentally and emotionally. I had to get deep into the character for which I had to use my imagination and live all the incidents that happened to Krishna Pandit and his family. I had to feel the pain of emotion in front of the camera, due to which there were many sleepless nights.

Darshan Kumar further said, ‘It took me some time to come out of this. Meditation helped me a lot, so yes it was one of the toughest journeys for me. Apart from this, audience Kumar talked a lot about the film ‘The Kashmir Files’. Let us tell you that the film ‘The Kashmir Files’ is based on the massacre of Kashmiri Pandits in the 90s. The film has also faced many controversies since its release. However, the film is constantly pulling the audience towards it. The film ‘The Kashmir Files’ has broken many records at the box office.
