Virat Kohli’s Sister Bhawna Explained Why She Won’t Reveal Vamika’s Picture

Cricketer Virat Kohli and actress Anushka Sharma were blessed with a baby girl earlier this year. The couple named her Vamika and also requested the media to give their daughter’s privacy. They asked the media to refrain from clicking their Daughter’s pictures. But fans and media are always behind the star couple. They are curious to get Vamika’s pictures.

As reported earlier, Virat Kohli’s sister Bhawna Kohli Dhingra had an Ask Me Anything session on her social media, where netizens asked her about Vamika and her looks. Virat’s sister replied and called Vamika an ‘angel’. However, netizens got more into the matter after the reply and demanded a picture or some more stories of her niece. Some even ran stories about how Bhawna has leaked a piece of information about the baby. Now, Bhawna has made a clarification where she said that she respects Vamika’s parents- Virat and Anushka’s decision. In a statement issued recently, Bhawna said, “Guys Virat and Anushka have already requested the media to refrain from Vamika’s pics. Please do not encourage or entertain any news that suggests that I have revealed how she looks. I totally respect their decision and would not do so myself.”

On the birth of their daughter, the power couple popularly known among their fans as Virushka came up with a request from the media and fans. In a statement, they said, “While we will always ensure that you get all the content you need featuring us, we would request you to kindly not take or carry any content that has our child.”

Virat Kohli also faced similar questions in his AMA session earlier. He handled all of them pretty well by saying, “No, we have decided as a couple to not expose our child to social media before she has an understanding of what social media is and can make her own choice.”

The couple is presently in the United Kingdom for Virat’s World Test championship.
