Former Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh and actress wife Hazel Keech are currently enjoying parenthood. The duo welcomed their firstborn together in January this year. Now, on the occasion of Father’s day, the couple has revealed their child’s name to the world. And it is something you shouldn’t miss. Taking to Instagram, Hazel and Yuvraj shared a string of photos with their little bundle of joy and wrote,
“Welcome to the world Orion Keech Singh (red heart emoji). Mummy and Daddy love their little ‘puttar (son)’. Your eyes twinkle with every smile just as your name is written amongst the stars. #HappyFathersDay.” In one of the pictures, Hazel is seen lovingly holding Orion in her hands while her head is resting on Yuvraj’s shoulder. The next image shows the duo looking at Orion and kissing him. While Hazel is donning a white turtleneck sweater in the pictures, Yuvraj is seen wearing a matching pullover.
Many celebrities, both from the acting and cricket world dropped heart emojis in the comments section of Hazel and Yuvraj’s post. The unique name of their son is grabbing much attention. According to nameberry.com, Orion is a constellation i.e. a group of stars located on the celestial equator. It looks like a hunter with a line of three bright stars for a belt.
Before announcing the baby’s name, Hazel also shared pictures of Orion spending quality time with his father on her social media handle. She captioned the post, “Happy first Fathers Day to you @yuvisofficial You’ve dreamt of this day since before we even met, now here you are, a burping, bottle feeding, nappy-changing, rocking-baby-to-sleep Papa with all the sleep deprivation and vomit that comes along with the giggles, smiles, and joy. You’re a great hands-on dad and I’m proud of the effort you make, always trying your best xx.” In the snap, Orion is seen resting on Yuvraj’s chest.
“Happy Fathers Day to you too Granddad. I love that Orion gets to see so much of you while you’re patiently waiting for him to be big enough to throw around. Happy Fathers Day to you @yograjofficial Orion waiting to pull your beard and meet the Grandpa with the booming voice. Xxx,” she added further.
For the uninitiated Hazel and Yuvraj Singh tied the knot in 2016. In January 2022, they became parents to Orion. Sharing the news with their fans and well-wishers, the couple wrote on Instagram, “To all our fans, family and friends, we are elated to share that today God blessed us with a baby boy. We thank god for this blessing and wish you to respect our privacy as we welcome the little one into the world.”
