Rumours of Gigi Hadid and Leonardo DiCaprio’s romance have been circulating for the past week. The couple was recently photographed having an intimate talk at a New York Fashion Week party, and reports say they are getting to know each other. Mohamed Hadid, the model’s father, has now addressed his daughter’s dating rumours.

Gigi’s father gave his thoughts on the Oscar-winning actor and recalled seeing him previously in an interview with The Daily Mail. He stated, “Mr DiCaprio is a very wonderful man whom I met in St. Tropez four or five years ago. He appealed to me.” In response to his daughter’s current dating rumours with the actor, Mohamed stated, “They are close friends who have known each other for a long time. I haven’t talked about Mr. DiCaprio with my daughter yet.I don’t believe they’re dating; instead, I believe they’re just good friends. But I’m really not sure.”

 

Gigi’s father also stated that he has no say over who she dates or what she does in her personal life. While Mohamed has not confirmed Gigi and Leonardo’s relationship, fans are relieved to see that DiCaprio already has a close relationship with Hadid’s family.

Leonardo is notorious for keeping his romances very quiet and has never spoken about his dating life. A four-year relationship between the actor and model Camila Morrone ended recently. The former couple made their relationship public after being pictured together at the Oscars 2020.

Hadid has a daughter, Khai, with ex Zayn Malik, with whom she split last year after her mother, Yolanda Hadid, accused him of harassment.

Gigi and Leo’s romance is believed to be ‘upsetting’ for Gigi’s ex Zayn Malik.
