As we know that the Narcotics Control Bureau had been calling Rhea Chakraborty in for questioning for the past few days, the news is that Rhea Chakraborty has finally been arrested for procuring drugs. Earlier on Friday, her brother Showik Chakraborty was arrested by NCB in drug case along with manager Samuel Miranda.

As reported by Republic, Rhea Chakraborty has now been arrested by NCB in the drugs probe. The actress was snapped outside the Narcotics Control Bureau office in Mumbai today for the third round of interrogation seems to have some huge revelations yesterday. According to a report published in Times Now, Rhea, who was confronted with her brother Showik by the NCB officials is reported to have confessed that she had done drugs. A few days back, Rhea confessed of procuring drugs but proclaimed that she never consumed them. Now, she is reported to have admitted of consuming them with the late actor.

Yesterday, Rhea Chakraborty’s lawyer had issued a statement saying Rhea was ready for arrest and that it is a ‘witch-hunt’. He mentioned that she did not approach any court for an anticipatory bail in all the cases foisted by Bihar Police with CBI, ED and the NCB.

Meanwhile, on Saturday, Rhea Chakraborty’s father Indrajit Chakraborty issued a statement after his son Showik was arrested. The statement read, “Congratulations India, you have arrested my son, I’m sure next on the line is my daughter and I don’t know who is next thereafter. You have effectively demolished a middle-class family. But of course, for the sake of justice, everything is justified. Jai hind,” as quoted by NDTV.
