Simone Arianne Biles (born March 14, 1997) is an American artistic gymnast. With a combined total of 31 Olympic and World Championship medals, Biles is the most decorated American gymnast and is one of the greatest and most dominant gymnasts of all time.
She recently withdraws her name from Tokyo Olympics. The main reason for withdrawing was her mental health. She said, “It just sucks when you’re fighting with your own head.” Biles broke down in tears while explaining her decision in a press conference. She said she wasn’t in the right place mentally to compete and wanted to avoid injury.

Deepika Padukone wrote, “I hear you (sic),”. She shared a news clip that says “Simone Biles withdraws from the second final at Tokyo 2020 to focus on mental health (sic).” Deepika had also gone through depression about which she was very open.
Alia Bhatt penned a note to show her support to Simone Biles. “A reminder that your mental health is as important as your physical health. This helps change the narrative regarding mental health all over the world, more power to you (sic),” said Alia.
Varun Dhawan wrote, “What an inspiration! An important reminder to take care of your mental health along with your physical! A message for difficult times like these.”
Simone Biles withdrew midway during the Artistic Gymnastics team final at the Tokyo Olympics on Tuesday. The decision Simone Biles took needs a lot of courage. The world, we are living doesn’t take Mental health as a part of Health. So Bravo Simone!
